(Isle Scimmia Court)
Monkey Judge: Court is now in session!
Monkey Lawyer: As you are in no doubt aware, someone has been senselessly defacing Isle Scimmia using some paint-like-substance. The accused is charged with polluting our beautiful home and yes, endangering our way of life. Indeed, how can one not be aware of what is going on? Though it is daytime in Isle Scimmia, our poor residents tremble beneath a veil of darkness. Expert star scholars have been determined that this darkness has arisen, because all of our guardians, the Sun Stars vanished from their gathering spot at the Sunshine Gate. The reason? It's quite obvious. This horrible graffiti is to blame! Behold this sketch of the suspect by eyewitness.
Edit: Shadow Kakeru looks like the fanart: Kakeru Devil Boy. But the skin is grey instead of peach.
Monkey Lawyer: The truth is obvious.The guilty sits among us. It is none other than Kakeru!
Haruka: Objection!
Monkey Judge: Overruled! I judge the defandent guilty as charged!
Monkey Lawyer: It's defendant! Correct your spelling.
Monkey Judge: Oh yea. I hereby order the defendant to clean up this entire island. Until Isle Scimmia is completely freed from his ville mess, Kakeru can be freed.
Hammer slams.
Monkey Judge: Court Adjourned!
(Kakeru's Jail Cell)
WATER: The residents are indeed troubled by this pollution. But the pollution is not the main problem. Remember this object from the air strip? That's a sunshine crystal star. It is the energy source of the island. The only way to keep the sunshine crystal stars getting farther away, is to keep the island becoming dirtier. The real culpirt is at work even as we speak. And you Kakeru, being treated as a criminal. Tomorrow, we must do our best to resolve this situation.
The next morning....
Monkey Cop: You can never escape from this mess. Your first job to get their of this ugliness. And remember, we'll be watching you, pal! We will know it when you start slacking off!

Kakeru was mistaken for the main villian of this series. Kakeru was arrested, sent to court and forced to clean up the entire town. What else can go wrong? Kakeru must also find the 4 sunshine stars to restore Isle Scimmia, that Shadow Kakeru hid them somewhere on Isle Scimmia.
Edit: Saru Get Chu Sunshine takes place 2 years after Paper Kakeru 2.
On the next chapter, Kakeru cleans up Scimmia Plaza. After he defeated the paint plant monster in the center of the plaza, Shadow Kakeru appears on top of the Central Plaza statue, and kidnaps Haruka. Can Kakeru save Haruka from his shadow side?
